After a description of the emission sources of new gases in Germany scenarios for possible future emissions were developed. It is shown that the total emissions of HFCs, PFCs and SF 6 will increase without the implementation of emission reduction measures by about 150% to a total of 27.5 Mtons CO 2 equivalents between 1995 and 2010. This increase can be limited by appropriate reduction measures, especially for HFCs, up to 30%.
